        There has been an interesting one in the news recenlty, known as the ‘$1000 dollar pil’. It was developed to treat Hepatitus C (infection of the liver) and took over 15 years, costing billions of dollars. There is now a big debate over whether a drug that costs so much was worthwhile, considering a lot of people who have Hepatitus C might not be able to afford it anyway.
