        A device that could split water using sunlight. Of course leaves do it easily. If we can do it in a lab, that would be awesome

        I’d like to invent something that would help lots of people, so perhaps a material or device that is useful for medicine, or something that can help clean up our environment.

        Nothing to do with my research, but I’ve always wanted to invent a cheap newspaper ink/paper combination that doesn’t come off on your fingers. That has always annoyed me!
