  Before I get to do any experiment I have to think about how dangerous it is. If there is any danger to myself or others I have to try and find a way to minimise the risk (for example, if the chemical is toxic then I need to wear gloves and work in a fumehood so that the chemical can’t contact my body). If I can not minimise the risk then I am not allowed to do the experiment. So really safety comes first!

  It’s not hard, because I know I am good at being safe 🙂 Not had a serious accident yet!
