My favourite thing about science is doing experiments people have not done before, to find out something that noone has known before. I like designing experiments that will prove or disprove something, it’s very elegant and satisfying to prove or disprove a theory by going into the lab and physically getting the results!

Designing an experiment, predicating the result and then seeing if I was right. Quite often I am wrong but it means I’ve learnt new information which is always pleasing.

I enjoy lots of parts of science. In particular Chemistry, as you can do lots of exciting experiments, often with dramatic effects. I enjoy working on my project, as I know that no one else has worked on it before, and it is something completely new in our field.

I absolutely love coming up with a new idea, then being able to simply go into the lab straight away and try it out! After filling in the appropriate safety forms of course 😛
