At A level I did chemistry and biology, but I stopped doing biology after one year to focus on my other subjects. Chemistry has been my favourite science since year 10 🙂 I had a nice teacher too which helped.
I studied all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) at GCSE level, but then only took Biology and Chemistry at A-level, as I definitely preferred them to Physics. My favourite was definitely Chemistry though, I loved all the experiments!
I liked science in my school, however i was not extremely passionate about science. I was passionate about history. Somehow i took B.Sc. chemistry, thats when i started loving chemistry. Thanks to my lecturers, they are simply awesome they inspired me to pursue my career in chemistry. I owe them a lot.
After GCSE, when we had to study all three of chemistry, biology and physics, I studied chemistry and biology for A-level. I also studied maths, which wasn’t essential but definitely helped when I came to studying chemistry at uni. My favourite is harder to answer – either chemistry or biology. I choose to study chemistry in the end as I thought I could always go into biological chemistry/ biochemistry from there.. Just like I have done!
Its’s all very interesting because most of you enjoyed Chemistry the most and thats the same as me! I didnt really really enjoy Science as much at the start of the year but now I do. 🙂
